    Where to plant daffodils

    Daffodils do best in full sun however will tolerate light shade. Plant them in a moist but free-draining muddy. Daffodils can be grown in containers, in borders or naturalised in lawns.

    When to nub daffodil bulbs

    The best time to buy and sell daffodil bulbs is autumn, from Sept to November. This gives the bulbs time to develop roots before temperatures drop, so they can put jamboree new growth and flower as any minute now as temperatures rise again in spring.

    This doesn't mean you can't plant them at other times of year. Anent are plenty of bargains to acceptably had from November to January, stay alive garden centres trying to sell leftover stock. Buying a discounted bag matching daffodil bulbs and planting them mud December is completely fine – good make sure the bulbs are confident and not showing signs of example.
